Patterson Farm, Inc. Tomatoes
Patterson Farm, Inc. has grown tomatoes since 1919. Today we are one of the largest staked tomato producers in North Carolina, planting, growing, harvesting, grading, packing and shipping approximately 350 acres of mature green, vine-ripened (field pack) and Roma tomatoes. Typically, our tomato season lasts from late June through October.
Patterson Farm ships tomatoes throughout the eastern United States and into Canada and Puerto Rico. If you’re interested in purchasing wholesale tomatoes, contact Victor Dimes at 704.857.5242.
In the fall of 2008, Patterson Farm Inc. began growing Hot House tomatoes, which are available in November and December and March and April. All our tomato varieties and other produce are sold fresh from the farm at Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. 10390 Caldwell Road, Mount Ulla, NC.
Safety First
Food Safety is very important at Patterson Farm, Inc. Since 2002, we have voluntarily used the GAPs Program (Good Agricultural Practices) to train all employees in the use of proper hand-washing techniques. This program ensures that procedures are in place to ensure a safe food supply to our customers. We train about 300 employees annually using this program.
