Description
This tour is geared toward third-grade classes and follows the NC Standard Course of Study.
Students will sample and observe soil, conduct soil experiments, participate in composting activities, and learn about the irrigation process. They will also enjoy a DVD presentation and a tractor-drawn wagon ride. Teachers will receive a soil observation kit to take back to their classes*.
This tour will last for approximately one hour. Please refer to the tour brochure for more information or contact us with any questions. To apply, just fill out the form below and print a copy of the confirmation packet. You’ll bring this with you on the day of the tour.
